"When people ask me to describe Chelsey Chip, I tell them imagine if Junie B. Jones was written today by a black woman. "

 The idea for a children's book came about in 2019, but it was merely just a thought. Once COVID-19 changed life as we all knew it she began to feel bad for the elementary school students in her neighborhood who had to stop going to school. Determined to make sure every kid, whether they were able to return to the classroom or not, got the chance to experience the fun that came from passionate school projects. " Chelsey Chip For Class President" was born.

We received an autographed copy of the book as a gift. My fourth grade daughter read it to us last night. We absolutely loved the book!!!
